At Books.by, every book is printed to order and shipped directly from the printing facility closest to the delivery address.
This ensures high quality and faster delivery times, wherever you are in the world.
How Printing and Delivery Work
Printing begins as soon as your order is placed.
Books are printed Monday to Friday by our regional print partners.Once your book ships, tracking is emailed to you.
You’ll receive an email with your tracking link, and authors can also view it in their Books.by dashboard.Delivery follows shortly after dispatch.
Most orders arrive within one to two weeks from the date you placed them.

For Authors (Author Copy Orders)
If you’re an author who ordered your own book:
You’ll have a registered Books.by account.
Your order ID begins with BY-B (for example, BY-B472910).
These are known as Author Copy Orders, and they may include proofs, test copies, or bulk orders for events and promotions.
You can track your order directly in your Books.by dashboard, under Orders.
For more immediate information, you can share your order ID (e.g. BY-BXXXXX) with our live chatbot to review tracking information, or check the printing status and tracking information available on your dashboard.
For Readers (Customer Orders)
If you purchased a book from an author’s store:
You may not have a Books.by account.
Your order ID begins with BY- followed by numbers (for example, BY-038443).
You’ll receive all your updates — including your tracking link — via email.
Delayed or Missing Orders
Sometimes orders can take a little longer due to carrier delays or high printing volume.
Here’s what to do if your book hasn’t arrived:
If it’s been more than 10 business days since you placed your order and it hasn’t shipped yet, please contact our support team.
If it’s been more than 30 days since your book was printed and you haven’t received it, we’ll investigate and arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
