Editing Your Author Profile

This guide will help you update your profile information, including your profile picture, author bio, and custom thank you messages for customers.

On your Author Profile, you can introduce yourself to your customers with a profile picture, short introduction, and author biography.

Accessing Your Profile Settings

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Click on Bookstore in the main navigation

  3. Click Edit Profile

Uploading a Profile Picture

Add a professional photo or avatar to make your author page more personalized.

Requirements:

  • File formats: JPG or PNG

  • Maximum file size: 4MB

To upload a new profile picture:

  1. From the Edit Profile page, locate the profile picture section

  2. Click the upload button

  3. Select your image file

  4. Crop or adjust as needed

  5. Save changes

Updating Your Profile Information

Name

Enter your preferred display name. This can be:

  • Your real author name

  • A pseudonym

  • A publishing company or imprint name

Short Introduction

This is a brief one-sentence bio (similar to a Twitter bio) that gives readers a quick impression of who you are.

Biography

Create a more detailed author bio to share your background, credentials, or interests with your readers.

  • Recommended length: Less than 50 words

  • This appears on your author page and helps readers connect with you

Setting Up Thank You Messages

Customize the message your customers receive after purchasing your books.

  1. From the Edit Profile page, scroll to the Thank You Messages section

  2. Enter your personalized message

  3. You can include links to your social media or newsletter signup

  4. Save changes

Troubleshooting

Changes not appearing? Your author page may be cached. Any updates to your profile (including new images) may take a few minutes to appear on the site. Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache if changes aren't visible after several minutes.
